1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m a Psychology Major at ULL and I’m so excited for my first season at Hello Dancer! Fun facts: I love funfetti cake, roses (Rose is my middle name), and playing board games with my family and friends.
2. What is your first memorable dance moment?
I remember going with my mom to buy my first pair of dance shoes and leotard! It was such a magical experience. I loved walking into my first dance class! I felt like such a princess with my tutu skirt and my ballet shoes.
3. What do you love about teaching?
I love seeing the moment on the dancer’s face when they accomplish a step that they once saw as impossible. It’s so special to be able to see the love that they develop, and the progress they make from the beginning of the year, as well as week to week.
4. What do you love about Hello Dancer?
I love the magical feeling that you get as soon as you walk into the door, and I love the pure loveand happiness that fills the entire studio. It’s so special to be part of such an amazing team that is as excited to share the art and love of dance with children as I am!
5. Who is your favorite cartoon or animated character?
My favorite cartoon is Tom and Jerry! I love watching it with my siblings, Jerry is so precious! I love seeing how Tom tries to catch Jerry, but Jerry always outsmarts him!
6. What do you want your impact to be as a teacher at Hello Dancer?
I want to inspire and help children to grow their dance education, while also showing them how beautiful, special, and unique the gift of dancing is for every person that it touches. I also want every child to be able to leave with a smile on their face and feel completely accomplished and happy and excited to come back.
7. What are you qualifications?
I have over 14 years of dance experience in all ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical.. and more! For the past two years I have been a teacher and assistant in classes for children ages 2-5. I am a kind, patient, and loving teacher, and can’t wait to be a part of your child’s dance journey.
